At London War Walks we are passionate about remembering
the conflicts that shaped Britain’s history and the people whose
lives they transformed. We love sharing the stories of the men
and women behind the memorials, looking at familiar and
unfamiliar places and the unexpected roles they sometimes
played in history – but above all exploring those seismic events
through the eyes of everyday Londoners who lived, worked,
loved, laughed and cried in the city.
As qualified guides for Westminster and the City of London, our
walks also extend to the social, political and cultural history
of London, the development of London’s transport network, and
colourful tales of the lives, loves and mysteries in historic
districts such as Mayfair, Marylebone, Belgravia,
Soho and the City.
Come and join us on one of our walks, or hear one of our talks!
